Dearest Jiji, Bua, Mamma, Mini (soon to be Dadi),
A very very happy birthday we all sing loud and clear,
May you have many many many more Yoga days in the year,
When we not only, stretch, breathe, and do the happy baby pose,
But get a piece of your beautiful mind, a balm for the bruised soul.
Because that’s what you have touched in all us,
And have taught so many things from how to live to how to brush,
Or to bowl, bat, probably also walk and run,
Not to mention how to be happy even when not having fun.
My little brain with its big etchings remembers you taking care,
Of not just humans but anyone who lived or living on a dare,
You probably see something more in us, them, and everyone around you,
There should be Meta goggles called Jiji, we want to see like you do.
May you, our blessing, keep showering on us every day and night,
May you, the energy, keep us all shielded, healthy and wise,
May you, with your better half, keep us on the right path always,
May you keep shouting, fighting with us, if possible, every day.
Only from your brothers..
We’ll be there as you’ll lift the sharp knife and think of us,
We’ll be that cake, unhealthy and sweet, that you’ll happily cut,
And in our little ears we'll hear all of nature with all its bounty,
Singing a very happy birthday to you, perched up in the County!
