Constant Reminders: Sunrise

The tiny orange dot, gradually grew larger,
As I woke up from my slumber,
Of ignorance, stubbornness, misplaced relevance,
And once again ignored the reminder.


A lifetime of my existence,
Is but a fleeting moment for it,
Mercifully, it taps gently, diligently,
Every occurrence like a beat of the humming bird.


Do you see it as well?
Or choose to ignore them, the reminders?
Of the blip we are in space and time,
Going about our Godly ways.


It will keep tapping and hammering my window,
As doth the humming bird,
A dent in a few minutes,
Are a few centuries in the dots existence.
