Fallen beauties, or stars on the floor?
Earth in romance, or God’s ire so sore?
Eyes are amazed, the mind, enthralled,
Awakening sprightly in the Spring of Fall.
Joy sprinkled, sorrow mingled,
Springing in the air for the stars that twinkle,
The sky on the floor, with full of kites,
Diyas of Diwali, or bright Christmas lights?
Perhaps a selfless return to mortality,
Finding this form, fetched from eternity,
Today you had departed for an unknown land,
Only to return with Fall and to hold my hand.
Fly, fly away to whence you came,
I know not your destination, it could be this place,
Ah! Why do I worry, for I do love thee,
Stay, stay here, your whence is here.
